 Licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission, his professional memberships include the CCIM Institute, CCIM Central Texas Chapter, Texas Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, where he chairs the Leadership Killeen planning committee, and Rotary International.

 Grant served in Vietnam with the Marine Corps, and graduated from Texas State University.  He was a department chairman at Temple College, where he developed an engineering training alliance that included many Central Texas manufacturers.  His wife is an early childhood teacher and they have three children. Grant enjoys hiking and has completed several sections of the Appalachian Trail.
